Tallahassee--Florida's capital
city--is the site of the
Red Hills Horse Trials, an annual United States Eventing Association
Area III event. Named for the sloping terrain and rich red earth known
as the "red hills" of north Florida and South Georgia, the Horse
Trials features a challenging cross-country course newly updated and designed
for 2010 by Scotland's Hugh Lochore. |

Organized in 1987, the Shell
Point Sailboard Club currently has about 100 members, from northern
Florida, southern Georgia, and parts beyond. The club supports sailing
in North Florida for all ages and levels, offering free lessons, several
racing events per year, and comraderie for high wind shortboarders. The
club is an active member of US Windsurfing. |

Tallahassee
Marathon / Half-Marathon History: 37th annual Tallahassee Marathon.
Our first marathon was held in 1975. The Tallahassee Half-Marathon has
been held since the mid-1980s. This is the seventh year it will be run
from Florida State's Mike Long Track. |

Since 1921, the Chamber
